The entire team of Sport Clips, along with South Pasadena dignitaries, were out bright and early Wednesday morning to celebrate the company’s one year anniversary under owners Jon and Priscilla Reyes. Sport Clips specializes in haircuts for men and boys offering special treats like their legendary hot, steamed towel, massaging shampoo and relaxing neck and shoulder massage in addition to precision haircuts.
City Councilman, Bob Joe, congratulated the team saying, “we want businesses like yours to succeed and we are so grateful to have you in South Pasadena. We wish you many more successful years.”
Echoing that sentiment were representatives Evette Kim from Senator Anthony Portantino’s office, Faith Lee from Assemblyman Chris Holden’s office and Christian Daly from Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s office, all were there to present Jon and Priscilla with Certificates of Recognition.
Jon and Priscilla Reyes have always lived nearby and had always wanted to be a part of South Pasadena. When this Sport Clips location became available, they jumped at the chance to own a business here. “It has been everything that we expected,” says Priscilla, “it surpassed our expectations and everyone here is so loyal and so loving and the chamber has been so amazing. It’s been a great, great year!”
