The South Pasadena High School (SPHS) football program is inviting the local community to show their support through two exciting events in May: a much-needed car wash fundraiser and a skills-building youth football camp. These events aim to support the hardworking student-athletes who rely on community contributions to fund their sports activities.
Car Wash Fundraiser – Saturday, May 10
The SPHS Football Car Wash fundraiser will take place on Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the SPHS parking lot (enter from Fremont). Each wash costs $15 per car, and all proceeds will go directly to support the school’s football team. CLICK HERE FOR TICKET

Youth Football Camp – Friday, May 17
On Friday, May 17, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon, the SPHS Football Field will host a youth football camp for Varsity Grades 7–8 and Jr. Varsity Grades 4–6.
Camp activities include:
- Combine testing
- Position training
- 7 v 7 games
The registration fee is $50, which includes a camp T-shirt. Financial assistance is available to ensure every aspiring athlete has a chance to participate.
A Call for Community Support
Both events are crucial to the continued success of the SPHS football program. The car wash in particular is a key fundraiser that helps cover equipment, travel, and other team expenses. By participating, community members are directly investing in the development and well-being of local student-athletes.
