SPUSD RELEASE

Congratulations to Sienna Drake, Doreen Hu, Chunlian (Lisa) Li, and Cleopatra Reeves for winning second place in the Ensemble Division of the 2022 Chinese Singing Contest held by the Chinese Language Teachers Association, Southern California (CLTA-SC).

Due to the pandemic, the competition involved students creating a video and sending it to CLTA-SC. With very little assistance, the students carefully planned, organized and presented the video using authentic materials, earning certificates and prizes for their efforts.
