Concerns about speeding cars along Hope Street in South Pasadena has resulted in increased traffic enforcement by local police department officials.
Residents came to last week’s City Council telling the 5-member panel that vehicles are traveling at high speeds in the 1700 block of the roadway, near Garfield Park.
In an effort to slow vehicles down, the police department has been directed to provide additional patrols on the street and surrounding neighborhoods.
