South Pasadena Arts Council Seeks New Community Art Projects

The First Eclectic Music Festival and Art Walk in South Pasadena, CA which featured a giant easels project produced by SPARC

The South Pasadena Arts Council (SPARC) invites artists/artist team to submit a proposal to develop an Artist in Community (AIC) project for the South Pasadena community during our fiscal year July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. Actual duration of the project will be determined in consultation with the Artist and SPARC.

Purpose

SPARC seeks an artist or artist team to create a visionary and thoughtful project that brings people together, builds community, and fosters social progress in South Pasadena through an ongoing program of activities and events.

Eligibility

This RFP is open to all professional artists/artist teams over the age of 18 working or living in Los Angeles County, who have at least two years of professional experience in community-based projects. South Pasadena artists are encouraged to apply.

Deadline is Friday, December 29th. 11:59 pm.
