Southern California Battered by Storms.

Nearly three inches of rainfall hit South Pasadena and surrounding communities.

The numbers are in following 48 hours of winter weather hitting the region earlier this week.

According to AcuWeather, South Pasadena experienced nearly three inches of rain over that period.

In the mountains, Big Bear enjoyed its first significant snowfall of the season, receiving about 4 inches while Mt. Baldy had about six inches and Mammoth as much as 18 inches in some areas. A busy ski weekend is anticipated at Big Bear and other resorts.

The wet weather has cleared out with temperatures reaching 80 degrees over the weekend.
