The musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved story captivated local audiences with its energetic young cast, earning standing ovations and enthusiastic praise for its humor, heart, and theatrical flair.
Mary Poppins Jr. Begins July 14 – Limited Spots Remaining
Up next, YSTA continues the summer magic with two sessions of Mary Poppins Jr., kicking off July 14. Registration is nearing capacity as families flock to be part of the enchanting musical experience. Both sessions are expected to sell out soon, with performances running through the end of summer.

Newsies Jr. Announced as Fall Mainstage Production
Looking ahead to the fall season, YSTA is excited to announce its next mainstage production: Newsies Jr. The youth-friendly adaptation of the Broadway hit invites aspiring performers to “seize the day” and take part in a high-energy tale of resilience and revolution. Auditions are scheduled for July 19 and 20, and young performers of all experience levels are encouraged to sign up.
