If you’re nostalgic for 80’s movies, then don’t miss Hotbox Vintage and Videotheque teaming up to present an outdoor movie screening and pop-up VHS Swap on August 20.
Movie fans can browse and purchase rare VHS tapes or bring some to trade. The pop-up shop will be in the Hotbox parking lot from 4-7pm. This is a free event.
Following the VHS Swap, will be the screening of “Times Square” (1980). A gritty tale of two teen girls who bond over their love of punk rock music and the hard knocks of New City Life. Tim Curry from The Rocky Horror Picture Show plays the overnight dj.
The film will be projected in HD in the Hotbox parking lot at 1127 Mission St, South Pasadena. Guests are invited to bring their own folding chairs. Fresh popcorn and refreshments are available for sale.

Doors for the movie screening open at 8pm with the film beginning at approximately 8:30pm. Admission is $12 and can be purchased at the Hotbox website (hotboxvintage.com) or at the door.
