The City of South Pasadena invites the community to its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the War Memorial Building, located at 435 Fair Oaks Ave., South Pasadena.
The event serves to honor and remember the men and women who have served in the U.S. military, bringing the community together for a morning of tribute, reflection, and unity.
Ceremony Highlights and Program
The Memorial Day event will feature several special presentations, including a color guard ceremony by Boy Scout Troop 333 and a performance of the National Anthem by AwenRose Miller.
A virtual address will be delivered by Tonya Oxendine, a distinguished speaker representing the Wounded Warrior Project, sharing her insights and experiences as a veteran advocate.
Following the tribute, attendees will enjoy live bagpipe music performed by Megan Kenney, refreshments, and a viewing of the Legion Room, offering a space for remembrance and community connection.
