The Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library is pleased to announce the Restoration Concerts return this fall! The Restoration Concerts Committee has planned a wonderful eight concert 2021/2022 season which includes string quartets, piano trios, solo piano, and a piano quintet with harp.
The first concert on September 12 features Martin Chalifour, principal concertmaster for the LA Philharmonic, cellist Cecilia Tsan, and pianist Steven Vanhauwaert. We will be welcoming back The New Hollywood String Quartet, our quartet in residence, as well as many more world class musicians during the season. Season tickets are only $96 for 8 concerts. Concerts take place on Sundays at 4:00 P.M.. at the South Pasadena Library Community Room. The Restoration Concerts Committee, a committee of the non-profit organization, The Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, has a goal to bring world-class music at an affordable price to the concertgoers in South Pasadena and surrounding communities. As our name suggests, profits from the concerts provide for restorations, enhancements and other benefits to the South Pasadena Library and Community Room.
