Measure LL Lawn Sign Pick Up Event was held during the City of South Pasadena’s Open House and was a huge success.
Measure LL on the November 8 General Election ballot asks voters to extend a small property tax. All proceeds go to the South Pasadena Public Library. Twenty percent of the Library budget comes from this source.
If approved, the tax will be renewed at the same rate with its existing Consumer Price Index. It will be extended without a sunset date, but voters could rescind it at a future time. Two thirds of voters must approve of the renewal for the measure to pass.
