The South Pasadena High School (SPHS) Varsity Softball team will host its first CIF 1st round playoff game in 15 years on Thursday, May 15, at 3:15 PM on the SPHS home field.
This marks a significant achievement for the Tigers, as it is their first playoff appearance and home playoff game since 2009.
A Milestone Year for the Tigers
The 2025 season has been historic for the team, with the players and coaching staff celebrating their hard-earned return to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) playoffs. The last time the Tigers reached this milestone was over a decade ago, adding extra excitement to this home-field advantage playoff game.
Community Support Encouraged
SPHS JV Softball Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach John M. Ramoss extended an open invitation to the community to come and support the team.
