On Friday, November 2, 2018, South Pasadena Middle School held the first-ever Multicultural Faire for middle school students. The Upstanders Club and Associated Student Body organized the afternoon event to raise awareness of all the various cultures represented at SPMS.

Students were invited to visit “countries” and participate in activities related to different cultures. Multicultural books were displayed encouraging students to experience countries around the world through reading. During the event, students carried passports and received country stamps to celebrate the diversity within the student body. Thank you to adviser Emily Williams who helped the student groups plan and host the event.
