The following will be offered from April 20-April 27 at the South Pasadena Senior Center:
Friday, April 20, 11:45 a.m. – Luncheon of Chicken Cordon Blue served with reservation needed in advance. After the lunch at 1 pm we will show 2017 film “Call Me By Your Name” all senior citizens are welcome.
Monday, April 23, 10:30 a.m. – “Geriatric Dentistry” presented by Dr. Lisa Hou, from Ostrow School of Dentistry, USC Division of Dentistry Public Health.
Monday, April 23, at 2:30 p.m. – Foreign Film Monday showing Vitus, Swiss/German 2006 film. Films are offered at no charge to senior citizens.
Tuesdays, April 24, 10 a.m. – Supervised Bridge is offered to members of the Senior Center. Challenge the mind with one of the greatest card games. Some knowledge of the game is needed. Group led by volunteers.
Thursdays, April 26, 9 a.m. – Line Dance instruction to Oldies – instruction offered to learn basic line steps and stimulate the brain by remembering step patterns. Class is 1.5 hours long and cost $20 for the month or $4 walk in fee.
Friday, April 27, 10:30 a.m. – Pet Disaster Preparedness workshop – Have you made plans for your pet in the event of a fire, earthquake or any other disaster? Then this information workshop is for you, learn tips to prepare your pet. Raffle prizes and refreshments served. Reservations are needed.
Friday, April 27, 11:45 a.m. – Friday Birthday Luncheon, join us in celebrating April birthdays at 11:45, luncheon menu” Vegetable Lasagna with Ricotta Cheese.” Cake will follow thanks to Applied General Insurance, reservations are needed in advance. Following the luncheon we will have Friday Cinema featuring “The Greatest Showman” a 1 p.m.
