The South Pasadena Senior Center, located at 1102 Oxley Street in South Pasadena invites senior citizens to take advantage of programs and services offered to enhance their quality of life daily

The following will be offered:

Wednesday, July 17, 10 a.m. – Book Club – Contact the front desk for list of books the group is reading. Led by Liz Giffen-Glad. Registration required.

Wednesday, July 17, 9:30 a.m. ­– Crochet & Knitting – Class will continue this year. Learn to create fun gifts or bring your own projects. Instructor: Jean Shono, $5 per class.

Friday, July 19, 10:30 a.m. – Age Well & Drive Smart – The office of Assembly member Chis Holden District 41 and CHP have collaborated to bring the community a workshop to assist with driving safer and driving longer. Presented by Officer Vince Ramirez with the California Highway Patrol. Advanced sign up needed.

Friday, July 19, 1 p.m. – Friday Cinema featuring “Apollo II” a 2019 film, History/Documentary, lasting 1 hour and 33 minutes. All seniors are welcome.

Friday, July 19 – Baked Ziti w/ Sausage Slices, Mozzarella cheese & tomato Sauce. Cost per person $2.25 for onsite and reservations are necessary. Home delivered meals are offered to those that are frail or recovering from illness, cost per meal $2.50, contact the office for any application.
