A very special screening of the film La La Land will be presented at the South Pasadena Library on Thursday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m. The program will feature a discussion with Oscar-winning set designers, David Wasco and Sandy Reynolds-Wasco who won the 2016 Oscar for their work on La La Land. The husband and wife duo are prolific and respected production and art directors known for their frequent collaborations with Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino. Speaking to set décor, Sandy has said, “even what never appears in the frame can influence the actor’s performance, so it all counts. It all has to be truthful, or at least truth-y.”
