Nicole Ring from Big Brothers, Big Sisters was the program speaker at the August 20 meeting of the Rotary Club of South Pasadena.

Ring explained how Big Brothers, Big Sisters provides mentors (Bigs) to children (Littles) age 6 through High School.

She was joined by Corey Bloom, who is currently a mentor to a 9-year-old boy in the organization. Corey’s father was a Big Brother which is what inspired him to become one. There are about 1,800 Littles in Southern California and Big Brothers, Big Sisters is always looking for more mentors.
