Dan Watson, with the local Rotary Club, described a project last week in which members of the organization from South Pasadena and San Marino, along with their family and friends, recently traveled to Tecate, Mexico to build a house in a day for a local family.

Rotary has teamed up with Corazon, a non-profit organization that coordinates the construction of homes for families that have donated hundreds of hours to earn the right for a home.

During the April 23 meeting, Watson unveiled a slide show of photos taken by Rotarian George Vieth.
