The Rotary Club of South Pasadena has announced their annual Community Service Grants Program. Funds for this purpose come from the proceeds of the annual Rotary fundraiser: “A TASTE OF SOUTH PASADENA – EATS ON THE STREET”, which takes place this year on April 16. $7,000 will be awarded, with no single grant exceeding $1,000.
All non-profits in our region are encouraged to apply, the application deadline is April 19, 2019
Applications will be evaluated on April 23, and applicants will be notified soon thereafter. Awards will be presented to grant recipients at the May 14, 2019 noon Rotary Club meeting.
The Rotary Club is especially interested in making awards to non-profit organizations that provide volunteers with opportunities for community service. In past years, grants were awarded to: Friends of the South Pasadena Library, South Pasadena YMCA, South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, South Pasadena Preservation Foundation, South Pasadena Community Gardens, South Pasadena Arts Council, Ronald McDonald House, Door of Hope, Angel Interfaith Network, Oneonta Congregational Church youth, Journey House, and others.
Application information is attached, and will be available on the Rotary website: www.southpasadenarotary.org. You may also contact Community Service Grants Chairman Dan Evans at: email@example.com
