The South Pasadena Community Development Department is inviting residents to a focus group meeting to help shape the city’s upcoming Pre-Approved ADU Plan Program.
Shaping Local Housing
Led by the consultant team from Office of: Office, city staff will present potential pre-approved plan set designs for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).
These plans are intended to streamline the building process for homeowners by providing ready-to-use architectural designs that meet local standards.
Resident Input Wanted
Attendees will have a direct hand in determining the future of local housing by providing feedback on:
Plan Types: The specific sizes and layouts residents would like to see available.
Design Styles: Reviewing early examples of ADU plan sets for aesthetic and functional appeal.
Program Feedback: Discussing how the pre-approved program can best serve South Pasadena homeowners.
“Community input is vital to ensure these pre-approved plans actually meet the needs of our local families,” noted a representative from the Community Development Department.
