This Wednesday evening from 5pm-8pm, Amy Peltier and her team will be celebrating their two year anniversary of their beautiful home décor and interior design shop at 1011-A Mission Street. It’s been a whirlwind two years which culminated recently in Peltier Home being named both Best Interior Designer and Best Furniture & Home Decor Store by Pasadena Weekly’s Best of Pasadena. An online poll is conducted over the course of several weeks and as it covers the entire San Gabriel Valley, it is high praise indeed for Peltier to have won not one but two honors. “We are so thrilled!” says Peltier, “they threw a party at Noor ballroom in Pasadena where we were all presented the awards and that was really fun.” She goes on to say “it’s exciting for us because we’ve only been open for two years so to win best furniture & décor is awesome. For the design as well, there is so much competition so yes, very exciting!”

The celebration will toast both the two year anniversary and the Best of Pasadena awards with food, libations, prizes and wonderful holiday shopping. Something Peltier features every holiday season is their Winter Frost line which is their holiday scent that always sells out quickly. Peltier says “it smells like Christmas trees and it’s awesome!” The Winter Frost comes in potpourri, diffusers and candles in an array of beautiful white vessels, some with tones of silver glitter. These of course will be available at the party and on sale in the shop for as long as they last. In fact, everything in the shop for the months of November and December is geared towards gift giving from beautiful photo frames to vases and throwpillows.

Peltier couldn’t be happier with her choice of South Pasadena as her company’s home base, “the city right now is awesome with so many great places, just little gems tucked away, from food to shopping to unique, little stores; there’s a lot of great stuff here. I think it’s a good time to be a retailer in South Pasadena.”
