Pasadena International Film Festival to Honor Jane Kaczmarek | September 9 – 16, 2021 at Laemmle Playhouse

PIFF is back with screenings at Laemmle Playhouse and events at Lyd & Mo Photography Studio and The Speakeasy

Two Pasadena residents and industry veterans saw an opportunity to create an event in their beautiful city known for its arts and culture scene. And so, PIFF was founded in 2012. They are thrilled that this event is now rated in the top 100 film festivals out of over 9000 film festivals worldwide according to FilmFreeway, and has honored the likes of Martin Sheen, Jason Ritter, Tom Arnold, Melora Hardin, and Michael Gross, among others. This year PIFF is showcasing 117 films, the very best in independent cinema. Every film ends with a moderator-hosted Q&A. Expected attendance includes Black Summer’s Jamie King, It’s Wyatt Oleff, Primetime Emmy Award winning Camryn Manheim, Cobra Kai’s Jacob Bertrand and SNL’s Cheri Oteri.

This year PIFF is honoring Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Nominee Jane Kaczmarek with The Rose of Pasadena Award, an award given to an individual who has devoted time and energy to the lives of those in the city of Pasadena.

In addition, PIFF will be presenting “The Great Gatsby Gala & Award Ceremony” – hosted by The Speakeasy – and the Passholders Lounge – hosted by the Lyd and Mo Photography Studio.
