They spent long hours committed to a cause, serving on one of 14 commissions in the City of South Pasadena before being honored for their service.

And that’s what South Pasadena Mayor Dr. Marina Khubesrian did last Wednesday night, recognizing 20 members of the community who dedicated themselves to a wide range of city commissions, from Parks and Rec and Public Safety, to Finance and more.

Khubesrian, who knows the value of each one, joined the City Council in paying tribute by presenting the outgoing commissioners a certificate of appreciation.
