The New Hollywood String Quartet is presenting the Summer of Brahms Chamber Music Festival July 7-14 on the Carnegie Stage at the South Pasadena Library Community Room.
For the first time ever, all 25 instrumental chamber works of Johannes Brahms will be performed in a series of eight concerts, featuring music from Boris Allakhverdyan, Margaret Batjer, Bernadera Blaha, Robert Brophy, Martin Chalifour, Chen-Yen Chen, Rohan de Silva, Lynn Harrell, Cho-Liang Lin, Paul Neubauer, Rafeel Rishik, Tereza Stanislav, Andrew Shulman, Robert Thies, Steven Vanhauwaert, Paul Watkins, and Orion Weiss.
The events, starting at 7:30 p.m. daily, will be held in association with The Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library and the Restoration Concert series.
The community room is at 1115 El Centro Street in South Pasadena.
