Roadrunners were ready to run and rumble into the new school year as they made their way onto their beautiful campus at the top of the hill. Excitement could be felt from parents and students alike as volunteer parents were ready to go with Roadrunner t-shirts and breakfast refreshments were served. The children were genuinely delighted to find their classmates, teachers and classrooms.

Principal Laurie Narro’s message to the families was “Welcome, bienvenidos, uhsuhwa, huanying and willkommen! We are so glad to welcome the children back and look forward to another Golden Year as MHS celebrates its 50th Anniversary as an elementary school. With the inspiration of inquisitive children, active volunteers and exceptional teachers, we are committed to excellence!”

MHS prides itself on being small but mighty and a true neighborhood school which is evident from the camaraderie you see among the students. Here’s to you, Roadrunners, long may you run!
