South Pasadena Educational Foundation and Upstage Theatre Schools present the South Pasadena Unified School District production of Matilda: An Online Musical Showcase! Fifth grade students from all three elementary schools have been recording ‘Best Takes’ of their lines, songs and dance numbers which are being edited together to make this year’s Online Performance.

The annual Fifth Grade Musical is part of SPEF’s Afterschool program and is a South Pasadena tradition. In past years, productions have been self-sustaining with all staff and expenses covered by ticket sales and student tuition.

Even in a pandemic, the show must go on! The 5th Grade Musical Performance may look a little different this year, but our fifth-graders have been working hard to bring you the show. Please show your support:

Donate any amount* to SPEF by Jan. 29 to support SPEF’s 5th Grade Musical (*no amount is too small) and we’ll say “Thank You” by sharing a link to watch the fifth-grade stars of this year’s musical.
