LACHSA dance students RISE to the moment and present their passion, their talent and their joy in Dance. The LACHSA Dance Department presents “RISE”, a concert celebrating the beauty and complexity of dance from modern masterworks to the most current contemporary expression of dance today.
“It is not to be missed” says dance co-chair Fiona Lummis. “They have put their hearts and souls and literally blood, sweat and tears into this production.”

RISE will have two performances on Saturday April 15 at 2pm and 7:30pm at Luckman Fine Arts Complex on the Cal State LA campus located 5151 State University Drive in Los Angeles. Tickets are available at lachsa.net/boxoffice or in person at Luckman Box Office Tuesday – Friday 11am – 6pm and Saturday 11am-4pm. Tickets can also be purchased by phone (323) 343-6600.
