He has toured globally and worked with legends such as Natalie Cole, Ivan Lins, and Benny Golson. His critically acclaimed albums — including Let It Go, Exploring Mars, and The Sky Remains — blend jazz with visual storytelling and multimedia components like NASA footage and vintage film.
Nelson’s career spans prestigious awards and standout performances, including a six-year world tour with Natalie Cole and a 2023 collaboration with Rufus Wainwright at Disney Hall. He is also a featured contributor on Ivan Lins’ Grammy-nominated album My Heart Speaks.

Kathleen Grace

Sengpiehl is also a sought-after voice educator and musical director for All About Kids LA, mentoring aspiring performers across genres.
