Peg Leg Love

Peg Leg Love has a sound comparable to post punk bands as The Gun Club, The Birthday Party, and The Damned. Somewhere between deathrock, garage and surf is where this Los Angeles based band sounds thrive. Peg Leg Love has released 8 albums, 2 EPs, toured Japan, Denmark, New York and has songs featured in the movie Road Wars. The main maestro Ilir Zeneli (guitar, vocals) along with Roclo Galindo on drums. Brings in the rock n roll sound with the right amount of darkness and pop.

Diana March

Diana March, owner of Jeweled Universe, has gotten back to her true love of performing after a long hiatus. She began at the age of 5 in musical theater and went on to be a featured singer for Princess Cruise line. One of her biggest accomplishments was her one-woman show she directed and performed at the famous Hollywood Roosevelt’s Cinegrill which also turned out to be one of the longest running shows at the venue. She loves hosting biweekly open mic nights for singers, songwriters and musicians of all styles at Jeweled Universe, giving people of all ages and experience a fun and supportive space to perform.


Corrina Carter

Corrina Carter is a singer and guitarist who collects, and interprets songs in a Folk/Americana style.

The women of JaKL trio are all singer-songwriters with an excess of experience. Karen Tobin has been a recording artist for Atlantic Records Nashville and Arista Records New York, she has sung on Movie Soundtracks and Commercials. Also produces new talent and co-writes. Jaynee Thorne has been a house concert presenter for the past 20 years and sung backup vocals for the likes of David Crosb and Severn Brown as well as a recording artist in her own right. Leslie Barker is a multi talented songwriter who plays mandolin, guitar, does vocal arrangements and producing. She has had songs in several movies. JaKL trio provides the listener with Ear Candy!!! The show should not be missed!!

Lorin Hart

Lorin Hart was raised on the music of New York radio, her mother’s folk albums, Broadway tunes and Mozart until Bob Dylan hit town and then it was him and the Beatles all the way down.

She played clubs in the Boston area before relocating to LA where she has continued to write, play and perform while raising her family. Along her journey she met bass player Chad Watson, who became her producer and music partner. Together they made her 1st CD “BREATHE”. Her 2nd CD is titled “LOVE COME BACK”, and Lorin and Chad are excited to announce they are currently in the studio putting together her 3rd CD titled Prisoner Of Hope, to be released later this year.

Tom Waits wrote a lovely, succinct liner note: “ Lorin Hart is like Buddy Holly’s girlfriend, a downtown cowgirl and her songs sound like the fairgrounds”

Lorin continues to play her creatively written Folk Rock, Country Jazz music solo and with her band at clubs in the NELA area, particularly at Diana Marsh’s Jeweled Universe in South Pasadena.
