The I-710 North Mobility Hubs Working Group (consisting of SCAG, LA County Public Works, LADOT, Cal State LA, and other local partners) is developing the I-710 North Mobility Hubs Plan to improve mobility and quality of life in the heavily congested region surrounding the northern end of the 710 Freeway.

The project seeks to identify future Mobility Hub locations that would offer more transportation options, public spaces, and environmentally-friendly features in the area that connects the cities of Los Angeles, Alhambra, and South Pasadena and unincorporated East Los Angeles. The project area is generally bounded by Union Station in Downtown LA, the South Pasadena L (Gold) Line Station, LA County Public Works headquarters in Alhambra, Cal State LA, and the surrounding neighborhoods.

The I-710 North Mobility Hubs Working Group, in partnership with the consulting team of Alta Planning + Design, Active San Gabriel Valley (ActiveSGV), Here LA, and Transportation Management & Design (TMD), is currently collecting public feedback as part of its first round of engagement through community pop-up events and online tools. Additional engagement activities, including public workshops, will take place in Spring and Summer 2022.
