According to Wikipedia, scrapbooking is the method of preserving, presenting and arranging personal family history and memories in the form of a book, box or card. It can be a solitary endeavor, but one that is definitely worthwhile.
What if you could take the act of scrapbooking and turn it into a celebration of memory preservation with fellow enthusiasts in an online forum?
Say hello to the 2019 Worldwide Virtual Crop being hosted by Creative Memories on April 11-15. A virtual crop is an online scrapbooking event where participants are given challenges to complete and then shared on Facebook to be eligible to win prizes.
Most challenges are single-page layouts, two-page layouts or cards. A sketch is posted and then you can get to create it! Both traditional and digital layouts are accepted with the requirement of Creative Memories products, past and current, being used in the design.
It’s a worldwide event because every four hours, a new sketch from one of 12 advisors from the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia will be posted. One of the U.S. contributors is local resident and Creative Memories Advisor, Tina Kistinger.
Break out your supplies, get your photos prepped and mark your calendar for the 2019 Worldwide Virtual Crop beginning on April 11 at 5pmCDT.
