Warrior Moms grew out of the single Mom group that Cutter started as she faced a difficult custody battle. She had the idea to make Warrior Mom products to remind them daily, “we are strong and can get through anything,” explains Cutter, going on to say, “so many feel they are alone in their journey. Through this group, I have met the most amazing women; I no longer was alone or felt the shame that is so common when you are going through a custody battle.” Cutter, who named her company after her daughter, has gained strength and compassion through working with and supporting other women and says, “it’s the most rewarding and amazing thing I have ever done besides of course the day my daughter was born. It created a safe place for women to get support, build friendships and most of all get the support we all needed.”

Like so many in the community, Piqui’s story hit home with Cutter and she realizes he could have been any of our children. She reflects, “Piqui loved the park and I want his family and all the other children to enjoy the park as much as he did.”

There will be a SOUL CYCLE RIDE for Piqui’s bench and Memorial Tree at LA Arboretum on September 17 1:30-3:30. The good folks at Soul Cycle want to help Piqui’s mother, Ana, and her family and friends have places to go to pay tribute to this extraordinary child. This fundraiser will go towards both the bench as well as the tree at the Arboretum, one of little Ara’s favorite parks along with Garfield.

Soul Cycle invites you to join them for a ride at Soul Cycle Pasadena to help raise the rest of the funds needed.

For those who have been to a class before, know the wonderful experience it is. For those who haven’t, they promise a great time. Everyone welcome; beginners to advanced. They ask that you arrive at 1:30 to sign waivers and get fitted for shoes. Minors can attend with parent consent.

Usual cost is $35 plus shoe rental. They kindly ask for a minimum donation of $35 which will include cycling shoes.

Soul Cycle Pasadena is located at 140 South Lake in Pasadena. You may donate to this event at www.eventbrite.com and type in soul cycle ride for Piqui’s memorial tree and bench.

Thank you to all who are helping the family and the community to honor a child gone too soon.
