FREE Electric Leaf Blower Event and Giveaway

FILE PHOTO: Bill Glazier | The South Pasadenan News | With a ban on gas-powered leaf blowers in the city, a large group of independent gardeners joined community members in looking at new advances in electric models during a free demonstration at Garfield Park.
 

Visit Garfield Park on Thursday, April 6 any time between 9 am and 1 pm to test out various brands of electric leaf blowers and other lawn equipment. At this event, residents and landscapers can learn more about incentive programs in place: California CORE and South Coast AQMD’s Commercial Electric Lawn & Garden Equipment Exchange Program.

City Staff will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the City-wide ban on gas-powered leaf blowers! Meet these particpants:

  • AGZA (American Green Zone Alliance)
  • South Coast AQMD
  • B&M Lawn & Garden Center
  • West Coast Arborist
