
Geffen Playhouse’s biggest fundraising event of the year, Backstage at the Geffen, will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Los Angeles. This year’s benefit honors three acclaimed artists—Frank Marshall, Danielle Pinnock, and Matt Bomer—with actor and playwright Daniel K. Isaac set to host the evening’s festivities.
Honorees Celebrate Artistic Excellence and Impact

The 2025 Backstage at the Geffen will recognize:
- Frank Marshall, EGOT winner and celebrated producer, with the Founders Award
- Danielle Pinnock, NAACP Image Award winner and writer-performer, with the Trailblazers Award
- Matt Bomer, Golden Globe-winning actor, with the Artistic Impact Award
