First Ever TASSEL Benefit A Success

South Pasadena TASSEL holds first annual fundraising benefit at Brookside Golf Club

Congresswoman Judy Chu was the featured speaker at the first annual South Pasadena TASSEL benefit that was held at the beautiful Brookside Golf Club on May 20, 2018. A live jazz band played as guests dined on small bites, took in the art displays, played games and bid on silent auction items.

Congresswoman Chu was impressed by all the work that TASSEL does on behalf of Cambodian children and she awarded the group a Congressional Award for their service.

Organizer Lauren Tan tells us, “it was exciting for us to show people within our community what we do at TASSEL. It was a good turnout and we plan on hosting another benefit next year.”
