
The South Pasadena Fire Department is partnering with Girl Scout Troop 2131 to host a community-wide Emergency Preparedness/Public Safety Open House with fire safety demonstrations, item giveaways, and emergency preparedness education.

Date: Saturday, October 18 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: South Pasadena Fire Station, 817 Mound Avenue
This free, family-friendly event aims to empower residents with vital knowledge and skills to prepare for emergencies. A highlight of the event will be the 45-minute Action Plan Workshops led by Alison Yam, a member of Girl Scout Troop 2131. Workshops will be held at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., guiding participants through the creation of personalized emergency plans for their households.
City police and fire officials will also be on-site to meet community members, answer questions, and share valuable safety tips.
