The South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) Board of Education has launched a search for its next superintendent, enlisting Education Support Services to facilitate the process. To ensure the district selects the best leader, community participation is highly encouraged.
According to Karen Tamis, President of the SPUSD Board of Education, community input is vital in shaping the Leadership Profile, which will guide the recruitment, screening, and selection process. “Your voice is essential in helping us find a superintendent who aligns with our district’s needs and values,” she emphasized.
How to Get Involved
- Complete the Online Survey: Share your thoughts in the confidential online survey (takes about 5 minutes). The survey is open until Wednesday, March 5, at 9:00 p.m.
- Attend a Community Forum:
- In-Person Session: Thursday, February 27, at 6 p.m. at the District Office Board Room (1100 El Centro Street).
- Virtual Session: Monday, March 3, at 11 a.m. (A link will be provided before the session).
- Join Stakeholder Group Discussions: Additional targeted sessions will be announced soon, providing more opportunities for feedback.
