The South Pasadenan has confirmed new information following the discovery of a deceased man at the Arroyo Drive overlook earlier this week.
South Pasadena Police Department officials confirmed with the South Pasadenan News that the individual is not a resident of South Pasadena. Authorities are still working to determine where he had been living and whether he may have been experiencing homelessness. That has not yet been established.

South Pasadena Police were on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding a deceased male discovered on a scenic overlook park bench about 7am Tuesday Morning.
Officials report that a man was found unresponsive, determined deceased, on a bench at the hillside viewpoint, a well known scenic spot for residents who come to enjoy the panoramic views over the Arroyo.
The incident prompted temporary lane closures during the early commute as law enforcement personnel processed the location. Drivers experienced delays while the area was secured.
