Creative Continuities: Family, Pride, and Community in Native Art
Opening November 15, 2025, the Autry unveils its newest exhibition: Creative Continuities: Family, Pride, and Community in Native Art.
The exhibition highlights three central aspects of Native culture:
-
Knowing – traditions and teachings preserved through generations
-
Create – artistic practices that honor resilience and innovation
-
Transference – the sharing of culture, pride, and values across time
Through diverse works of art, Creative Continuities celebrates Native identity, family, and community, offering visitors an opportunity to explore connections across tribal boundaries—past and present.
This fall, the Autry Museum becomes a hub for movement, creativity, and cultural celebration. Whether it’s your child’s first dance steps, an evening of yarn-inspired art, or an exploration of Native traditions, the Autry offers something for everyone.
