The Blue Guitar, located at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course, was at maximum capacity as the sold out crowd thoroughly enjoyed the cool jazz stylings of drummer extraordinaire, Jaz Sawyer.

The evening was a fundraiser for the South Pasadena Arts Council and once again, SPARC proved they put on the best, most varied, creative events in town. Their motto is “Igniting Creativity, Illuminating The Arts” and they continue to do just that through art exhibits, music events, pop up public art, the utility box art, along with supporting arts education in our public schools.

Said SPARC Founding Director, Lissa Layng Reynolds, “it was a great night and a big success! Thanks for all who came tonight!”

Next up for SPARC is their big Kickoff to Summer Dance Party
June 16 – 6:30-10pm at the War Memorial Building. Get your dance shoes ready and stay tuned for more details!
The Blue Guitar hosts Jazz evenings every Thursday. Created by Brad Colerick after the wild success of his Wine & Song series which takes place each Wednesday at the same location.
