There were gifts, prizes, desserts and bubbly as shoppers and friends descended on Heatherbloom to celebrate 25 years of providing beautiful fashion to our community. Owner, South Pasadena resident Michelle Round, is a bubbly force of nature so it isn’t surprising that her enterprise has continued to thrive through the ups and downs of business ownership.
Round began the shop in Old Town Pasadena 25 years ago which evolved into an online store when she had her children and then she opened shop on Mission Street and opened the current location six years ago.
Jane Soudah or “Jane The Baker” was on hand for the celebration providing delectable treats for the party as well as signing her new cookbook “Delightful Desserts”, available everywhere books are sold including signed copies at the South Pasadenan shop! Soudah was thrilled to be a part of celebrating Heatherbloom and her Christmas cookies and to die for pound cake were big hits with the crowd.
People came from far and wide to offer their congratulations, to celebrate and shop with many leaving with prizes, signed books, a Heatherbloom 25 year anniversary mug and their treasures. “Business is so great!” exclaimed Round, continuing, “2018 is an overhaul year so we are looking at ways to update our space and continue to grow while maintaining our core style of wardrobe essentials that are classics with a twist. Quality is paramount to us, we want to bring you things you will have in your closet for a very long time that you can add to every time you shop.”
Congratulations to Michelle and Heatherbloom and here’s to 25 more years!
