South Pasadena’s Citizens’ Police Academy begins April 10.

The Academy is designed to educate residents on the role police officers play in the community.

Those in attendance will learn about crime analysis, patrol, forensics, use of force, and traffic enforcement. I

The Citizens’ Academy will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 p.m., beginning on April 10 and ending June 12.

Classes will be held in the South Pasadena Fire Department’s Emergency Operations Center.
