Two vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection of Orange Grove Ave and Magnolia St. on Friday, October 16 at around 2:30 p.m..
According to South Pasadena Police Department Traffic Officer Jeffery Holland, a white Mercedes was traveling northbound on Orange Grove while the other automobile involved in the accident, a sliver Mercury Mariner, was traveling westbound on Magnolia.

Officer Holland says the statement given to him by the driver of the Mercury was that “she stopped at the stop sign to look both ways, saw nobody coming and proceeded out in the intersection when she was hit by the driver in the white Mercedes.”

The driver in the white Mercedes allegedly tried to “veer to the right to avoid hitting (the Mercury)” hitting the rear portion of the driver’s side and then ramping up the curb, hitting the stop sign.

No major injuries were reported other than the “driver of the Mercury complain(ing) of neck pain, lower back pain and the passenger complain(ing) of shoulder left shoulder pain.”
The driver and passengers of the Mercedes do not report any injuries or pain.
