A community meeting on the city budget is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in the South Pasadena Library Community Room.

The City Council heard a long-range budget forecast last week that is expected to show increased deficits during the next five years. A lengthy study session was held during the regular City Council meeting on Wednesday, March 6.

The South Pasadena Library Community Room is at 1115 El Centro St.

Tonight’s meeting will include an informational presentation and a discussion on options to close an anticipated budget gap.

A second community budget workshop is slated for Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at the South Pasadena Senior Center, 1102 Oxley St.
