11-25-2020 UPDATED REPORT:

At about 8:30pm Saturday November 21, a man was stabbed multiple times while on or near a Metro Gold Line station in Highland park, then escaped onto the Metro Train eastbound towards South Pasadena.

The injured victim exited the Metro Train at the South Pasadena station and was met by police who responded to 911 calls from witnesses.  South Pasadena Rescue EMS also responded, treated the victim, and transported him to a local hospital.

The circumstances are still under investigation by LAPD Northeast Division at the time of this report.

Responding to the incident were LAPD Northeast Division units, LASD Metro Units, and South Pasadena Police Units.

South Pasadena Police Lieutenant Shannon Robledo reported to The South Pasadenan that the victim was male, and there were multiple stab wounds.  The wounds were not immediately life threatening.
