At approximately 10:30am Monday February 11th, a car collision at Spruce and Fremont trapped one driver in their vehicle. South Pasadena Police and fire rescue were called.
Only minor injuries were reported by South Pasadena Police Department at the time, however the Alhambra Fire Department did have to assist in the removing of one of the vehicles doors. The collision pinned the door down making it unable to open without force.
According to police on the scene, it’s possible that one of the drivers ran a stop sign. South Pasadena Police will be checking the local traffic cameras to ascertain the cause of the collision.
