A 10-year-old girl and a vehicle were involved in an accident on Friday afternoon just after 1 p.m. and transported to USC Medical Center in Los Angeles for treatment.
The incident took place on Alpha Avenue between Valley View Rd. and Moffatt St.
Captain Anthony Porraz with the South Pasadena Fire Department said the girl sustained some abrasions to her face and left leg.
“Other than that she’s doing fine,” said Porraz, noting that the girl was transported to the medical center “more for precautionary” measures.
