Arroyo Vista PTA is hosting its 4th Annual AV Marketplace to encourage young entrepreneurship. This event will take place on Saturday, 12/14 from 10am to 1pm at Arroyo Vista Elementary School and they would love the community to come and shop to support this fantastic event.
The students have been preparing since October and received business advice along the way. AV PTA partnered with the award winning SPHS Varsity Virtual Business group to teach students ranging from Kindergartners to 5th Graders the basics of starting a business. The high school students gave a presentation that covered topics ranging from budgets to to sales and marketing.
This year, there will be over 70 booths, and will include handmade creations (from holiday crafts, jewelry, etc.) to various activities such as paint your own frames at the AV Marketplace. There will be something for everyone.
Please bring cash as the transactions will be cash only. Bring the kids and come support these AV students who have been working really hard to create their businesses and see what they have to offer!
