The Autry Museum invites families and museum-goers of all ages to beat the summer heat and celebrate National Ice Cream Month at its Family Fun Day: Ice Cream Social on Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This family-friendly event combines creativity, community, and cold treats for a summer day of interactive fun.
Museum admission rates apply for entry, though the event is free for Autry Members. All attendees can enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, with the added bonus of a complimentary ice cream cone, available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., while supplies last.
Drop-In Activities and Summertime Fun
The celebration begins at 10 a.m., offering drop-in activities that include:
- Crafting colorful pinwheels and popsicle-stick art
- Lawn games for all ages
- A museum scavenger hunt that takes families through the galleries in a fun and educational way
The ice cream giveaway starts at 11 a.m., so come early to claim your cone and enjoy the cool treat under the summer sun.
