Arts Crawl | Winter Celebration of the Arts in South Pasadena

Winter Arts Crawl is Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.

Artists and merchants gear up to welcome people of all ages to another quarterly “neighborhood-night-on-the-town” as the Chamber of Commerce hosts the Winter Arts Crawl on the evening of Saturday, February 11th featuring art exhibitions, interactive activities, open houses, food and drink specials, and sales throughout the business district.

Chamber President Laurie Wheeler says “The Winter Crawl offers a valuable opportunity for the community to come out to South Pasadena and enjoy an evening around town with family and friends, all while supporting local merchants and artists.”

Local Artist Sascha Stannard will lead a children’s art activity making Valentine’s boxes ‘to give to the ones we love’ from 3:30-6:50pm at the City Hall Courtyard. The South Pasadena Arts Council (SPARC) hosts an open house and artist meet and greet for their exhibition titled Two Views by Shauneen Bell and Gillian Gough at the Chamber of Commerce Gallery.

The South Pasadena Library features a Community Art Swap from 3:30-5:30pm on the Oxley Street side of Library Park where participants of all ages are encouraged to create mixed-media arts and crafts using recyclables and other materials and swap it with another creator’s work.

Retreat Lifestyle hosts a jewelry trunk show featuring Amanda K. Lockrow. Camille DePedrini Boutique features a vintage pop-up and garage sale from 11-5 pm. La Monarca Bakery presents an art pop-up by Baggio Ardon featuring authentic Hispanic paints, design & merchandise.

Stop by Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta for heart-shaped pizzas and a specialty ‘Espresso Mammatini’ cocktail made with cold brew espresso using Jones Coffee beans. The Munch Company offers a 10% discount on all menu items.

Guests can walk, bike, or take the Metro ‘L’ Line where the South Pasadena Station will deliver you directly onto the main strip of the event. Parking is available at the parking lot north of Mission Street on Meridian, walking distance to more than 20 participating shops and boutiques staying open with extended hours to accommodate the revelry.
